I graduated from the University of Texas Arlington and I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health NP. I am delighted to serve patients from preteen to older adults. I am experienced in treating patients with ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, insomnia, substance use disorders among other disorders. I work closely with my patients to finding the best evidence based medication and psychotherapy modalities.

He has championed different branches of medical sciences, including Oncology, ICU, and community mental health. Charles has marked his expertise in treating individuals across all ages, from 5 to adults. Applying a holistic approach, he addresses a diversity of mental health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, eating disorders, trauma, and more.

Steve Carroll is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He serves clients across the lifespan and treats a wide range of mental health concerns including Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Eating Disorders, ADHD, Addiction, and other mood disorders. Steve specializes in the care of clients within the LGBTQ community, as well as survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Steve was a 2020 recipient of the Ken Dunning Trauma Informed Care Commissioner’s Award, a distinguished honor bestowed by the New York Department of Health for practitioners who provide medical services to trauma survivors.

Psychiatrists are the only doctors who don't look inside the body to assess a problem. Think about it; all other doctors use imaging and labs to look inside a person’s body when making a diagnosis. That coupled with your symptoms is how they determine what the problem is. Unfortunately, mental health providers have learned that how a person feels is their only tool in assessing somebody. Because of this, psychiatrists often have no idea what’s causing the problem. This limits the treatment options to a prescribed “band-aid" that is used to reduce symptoms, instead of addressing the underlying cause of a problem.

Biography: I completed my master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, followed by a post-master’s degree in Family Nursing Practice (FNP) and a doctoral degree in nursing practice (DNP) at Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina. I also completed a post-doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health practice (PMHNP) (across the lifespan) at Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky. I am board certified in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry (PMHNP-BC). I am also board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), a DOT Medical Examiner, and SAMHSA (X-Waiver) addiction provider.

As a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, licensed to practice in the State of Washington. I have experience working with children, teens and adults. I have also worked with acutely ill adult clients in a number of inpatient facilities. I hold Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana, and have worked in the nursing profession since 1998. I am currently not accepting new patients for ADHD treatment.

I specialize in treating children, adolescents, and adults (ages 10-64) with a passion for providing clients with the best possible comprehensive care while focusing on their mental health. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and psychotherapy. At this time, I am accepting new clients for medication management with supportive therapy.
