I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner available to work with individuals and couples of all genders.I have been in practice for more than 30 years. I have a background in women's health as a nurse-midwife which has developed into a specialty in women's mental health, perinatal mental health, hormonal transitions such as peri and post-menopause, menstrual related symptoms( PMS, PMDD, PCOS), and sexual health. Other interests include healthy aging, life style medicine, professional burn-out, caregiver fatigue, mindfulness approaches, stress resilience, psycho-education, trauma resolution, mood disorders, anxiety, and depression.

Finding high-quality mental health care can seem like an insurmountable challenge at times. It takes motivation and organization to even start a search, only to run into insurance restrictions and provider shortages. My goal is to help simplify that process by providing holistic, evidence-based care in a low-pressure, client-centered way. With over a decade of experience in mental health and a background in nursing, I bring a compassionate and conversational approach to wellness.

I provide medication management services and won’t rush you through appointments and will take time getting to know you. I believe that quality care takes into account the whole person. As a specialist in women’s health, have spent years working in obstetrics as a midwife, and now as a psychiatric NP. I am passionate about serving as a support for women who may be coping with infertility, are currently pregnant, postpartum, or dealing with the stress that often accompanies the early parenting years.

Our mission is to provide evidence-based, holistic mental health care using the art and science of healing to adults, children and adolescents. I'm a psychiatric nurse practitioner, offering consultation, medication management and therapy in downtown Northampton. I care about what makes us unique, as well as what we have in common. My interests include anxiety disorders like panic and OCD, as well as people on the autism spectrum or with social or learning differences.
