I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner available to work with individuals and couples of all genders.I have been in practice for more than 30 years. I have a background in women's health as a nurse-midwife which has developed into a specialty in women's mental health, perinatal mental health, hormonal transitions such as peri and post-menopause, menstrual related symptoms( PMS, PMDD, PCOS), and sexual health. Other interests include healthy aging, life style medicine, professional burn-out, caregiver fatigue, mindfulness approaches, stress resilience, psycho-education, trauma resolution, mood disorders, anxiety, and depression.
My approach is to work collaboratively with clients to find short and long term solutions for improved health and well being through whole person, whole life approaches which integrate physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the individual. I prescribe medications within a thoughtful, informed, and respectful relationship with my clients.
