Throughout more than eight years of experience, I’ve provided patient care across a variety of settings, including ER care, inpatient psychiatry and outpatient psychiatry.

I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. During my residency I served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry Award as well as the Clinical Excellence Award.

She practices as a Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health NP with a wealth of education & experience. Dr. Sim graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University with Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Nursing. She further received a Medical Degree and PhD in Public Health from University of Science, Arts and Technology, Montserrat (Florida campus). She believes in a personalized treatment plan for each patient be it medication therapy and/or psychotherapy.

Stephanie L. Weingard graduated from Florida International University, achieving a post-masters certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in inpatient, outpatient and intensive outpatient settings over the past 8 years. She is also a United States Air Force Reservist and works providing mental health care to both active duty and reserve members.

Dr. Kristina Schnitzer is board-certified in Psychiatry and obtained her MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She has been practicing for over 7 years. Dr. Schnitzer's practice focuses on medication management. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. However, occasionally Dr. Schnitzer may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.

Dr. Jane Eisen comes to Talkiatry from her previous position at McLean Hospital in Boston, where she was Clinical Director of the Depression and Anxiety Division. Clinically, she has experience working with people with significant mood and anxiety difficulties. Dr. Eisen's practice focuses on using an integrated approach to the understanding and treatment of individuals' psychosocial stresses and psychiatric symptoms. She frequently suggests including a family member or friend in at least one session to get a comprehensive sense of each person's strengths and challenges.

Welcome, my name is Dr. Dan Coleman. My practice provides a safe, confidential and caring environment and it is my sincere goal to be a source of healing in your life. We all experience pain. For the past 20 years, Dr. Lavin worked at the University of Denver Health and Counseling Center where she treated undergraduate and graduate students. She also worked at a training clinic for students pursuing their PsyD degree. She has supervised and taught psychiatry residents. She taught a psychopharmacology and differential diagnosis course to psychology trainees. Dr. Lavin has a strong interest in functional medicine and alternative therapies. She is board certified in adult psychiatry. Dr. Lavin focuses on a comprehensive medical assessment, medication management, psychoeducation, wellness, and alternative therapies.
