Stephanie L. Weingard graduated from Florida International University, achieving a post-masters certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in inpatient, outpatient and intensive outpatient settings over the past 8 years. She is also a United States Air Force Reservist and works providing mental health care to both active duty and reserve members.
In 2012 she was awarded the Secretary of Veterans Affairs Excellence in Nursing award for care improvement strategies implemented on the intensive psychiatric inpatient unit. In 2016 she was awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal for her exemplary service providing mental health care & again in 2020 for excellence in culturally competent care provision.
Mrs. Weingard enjoys working with a diverse patient population and is certified to work across the lifespan. Her goals as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Registered Nurse are to increase access to mental health treatment, to build therapeutic relationships with patients, to work collaboratively with a Multidisciplinary team and to foster a healing environment
