The ideal patient appears successful on the outside, but suffers longstanding dissatisfaction or self-defeating behavior. I'm a UCSF-trained psychiatrist working with adults experiencing the full spectrum of mental health challenges. Eric A. Lazcano, M.D. is an ABPN-Board Certified Psychiatrist. He graduated medical school from UT Southwestern, and completed psychiatry residency training as Chief Resident from Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Dr. Lazcano is an adult general psychiatrist who has been overseeing a South Bay Los Angeles private practice since 2018. While a resident, Dr. Shiovitz consistently scored extremely high in the National Psychiatric Resident in Training Examination, which qualified him to represent his program twice in the National Psychiatric Resident Competition.

After 13 years of training future psychiatrists at Loma Linda University, God led me to leave a job I loved and start my own practice to focus on caring for patients. I am glad for the opportunity and privilege to work with people of all faiths, but particularly have a passion for helping fellow Christians. I am experienced in both medication management and psychotherapy, and have a particular interest in Christian counseling.

I would rather teach a skill than prescribe a pill, but I will. Joe is a board-certified Physician Assistant. He completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in 2011. Afterwards, he attended the Interservice Physician Assistant Program through the Department of Defense and accredited by the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He was awarded a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree and commissioned as an Officer in the US Army.​ As a PA, Joe has worked in variety of settings - including Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and has extensive knowledge in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine from years of service in the substance use rehab industry.

Dr. Iman Parhami is a triple-board certified psychiatrist (Child Psychiatry, Adult Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine) who completed his child and adolescent psychiatry training at Johns Hopkins University. He strongly believes that diagnoses do not define individuals. Instead, diagnoses can help classify a set of symptoms and can help identify empirically supported treatments for that class of symptoms. He also believes that psychiatric treatments cannot just include psychopharmacology but must include a multi-disciplinary approach that is family-driven and culturally sensitive.
