I am an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing medication management for adults. I received my BSN and MSN at California State University Long Beach (CSULB) and worked as a neuroscience bedside nurse, as well as with adolescents and young adults in a psychiatric residential treatment center while working toward my Masters degree. Since becoming an NP I have worked in a private practice setting working with adults of all age ranges. I am also a clinical instructor to nursing students during their psychiatric rotation.

Derek VanCamp, DNP is a psychiatric specialist with 30 years of experience in emergency care, family practice, critical care, and psychiatric disorders. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from West Coast University Los Angeles, a Master’s degree from Vanderbilt University, a Doctoral degree from Vanderbilt University, and a Postdoctoral degree in psychiatry and mental health from Regis College of Boston. I also help college students return back to school when they have had to take a break due to stress leading to poor grades, family issues, relationship conflicts, or other emotional hardships..
