Pegah Pajouhi, M.D., is Board Certified in Psychiatry and a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She received a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley, as well as multiple academic, leadership, and research awards. She then obtained her medical degree at UC Davis, where she also received the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences award. Subsequently, Dr. Pajouhi completed her psychiatry residency training at Stanford University. Throughout her education, she has volunteered at free community clinics and written articles for publication.

Dr. Ashok Parameswaran is a licensed and board-certified psychiatrist. Born outside of Philadelphia PA, he moved to San Diego for residency. In San Diego, he has worked in a variety of outpatient clinical care settings serving patients from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.

We are going through a major mental health crisis. I specialize in depression, and anxiety, mood disorders, especially childhood trauma- the topic of my research at UPenn, eating disorders, autism,ADHD. I work well with schools, blended/ mixed families, and have a special interest in College Mental health, having worked at CAPS clinic at UPenn and the Depression Project at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I have a collaborative approach to patient care where parents and the patient are partners in treatment with the doctor. My approach is - start low and go slow on meds. Any meds I will not give my own kids, I wouldn't yours!
