Trauma impacts every area of our lives, often leaving us overwhelmed and exhausted in our attempt to restore what has been lost. Healing begins when we lean into the hurt; engaging our body, and patiently remaining in the spaces within us that need comfort, understanding, and care. In our sessions, we will work together to create containment for the present, healing for the past, and hope for the future. This means developing the skills and tools needed to begin processing what has created the fear, hurt, anger, and sadness in your life, and cultivate in it's place hope, wholeness, peace, and healing.
The work we will do together focuses on gaining a deeper understanding into the hidden thoughts, fears, beliefs, and dreams that you’ve gained and developed over the years that play a role in how you interact in your world today. We will work together to uncover these patterns in your life and bring self-awareness, understanding, and compassion to them.
I am so passionate about my work as a therapist; I consider it a true honor to get the opportunity to sit with you in all parts of your story as we work towards healing together. It takes an immense amount of courage to begin the journey of tending to the pain. Reclaiming your story, finding hope and healing is possible, and you don't have to do it alone.
