I work with clients in times of change, grief and crisis who may be feeling depressed, anxious or stressed. Together we explore and develop insights into what the client is doing, why they are doing it and what the need is behind it, then find more fruitful ways to do it. Often this involves identifying behaviours, beliefs, and attitudes from the past and how they are experienced in the present.

I believe in the effectiveness of brief intervention. As well as being emotionally supportive, therapy can be educational and empowering. During just a few sessions, clients discover much about themselves and gain perspective on their thoughts and behaviour. Through their experience of navigating issues brought to therapy, clients become better prepared to deal with difficulties in the future.
