There are times in all our lives when we feel we have lost our way, need some to listen or simply want somebody to help us reach the next step in our journey. Maybe that sounds like you and you're looking for help to take that first step, or simply share your concerns in a safe space and really feel heard. My focus is to help individuals heal, energise, and become aware of their inner strengths by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customising a treatment plan. My specialities include Relationship+Family Counselling, Anxiety+Depression, Abuse+Narcissism and Grief+Loss

As well as being an important source of support for when you are distressed, your relationship with your counsellor can assist in developing insights into yourself and your relationships.
I am a BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist in private practice and see clients in Fulham as well as Kensington. Over the last seven years I have worked in a number of public as well as private institutional settings including the NHS, universities and employee assistance programmes. My way of working is integrative-relational. I combine and tailor a number of different theoretical approaches whilst treating the relationship between us as the most important facilitator of our work together.

I am a fully qualified integrative therapist, experienced in working with couples and individuals of all ages, and from all walks of life. I'm not your everyday counsellor, I truly believe that we all have it within us to be our best selves, happy and content, but that comes from understanding ourselves better. I often see clients in the middle of a crisis who need more immediate help, and I also work with people who are otherwise happy but want help moving forwards in their life. I see couples who may have got into bad habits, and may want help building an environment which will enable the relationship to flourish once again.

Consider the Therapists life experience, qualification training, ongoing training, gender, and age (to name a few) The counselling relationship needs to be sustainable for you convenience and price wise.
Reviewers and seekers like yourself might be uncertain about what therapy is. You might imagine it's like going to see the doctor to get a plan to be fixed or you may imagine Therapy to be more like a craft/art/magic. Or something else. I don't have fixed ideas about what you bring, how you bring it and what sort of person you might be. I'm not sure what you want, but i'm interested to start exploring it together with you. You may not know what you want and thats ok too. It is ok to reach out from a position of not knowing and uncertainty. Sitting a room together will give you a lot of information.

So often in our lives we reach a place where we are struggling in some capacity or another. It may be a deep-rooted issue that goes back to childhood, a past relationship or a trauma. It may be some destructive behaviour such as a form of self-harm or an eating disorder. It may be a negative thought process that is having an impact on our daily life. Whatever the issue, I believe counselling can help. Having a place where we can allow ourselves time and a calm space to think, talk and work things out can be absolutely priceless.

I'm an integrative counsellor working both online and in-person with individuals. In addition to helping my clients with various mental and emotional challenges, I have a special interest in working with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and relationship issues. You may be experiencing relationship problems - with a partner, family and friends or colleagues and wondering why particular patterns keep occurring. Perhaps you are struggling with low self-worth, or that negative voice within you has become so loud that you are finding it difficult to relate to others and the world around you.

Having a fulfilling and lasting relationship is something we all aspire to, but it isn't always easy. Relationships can go wrong for all sorts of reasons and it's difficult to know where to go for help. In my work as a sex and relationship therapist, I work with both couples and individuals to not only get your relationship back on track and improve communication, but also to help it develop so that it achieves its full potential. Often, problems in a relationship can be an opportunity to develop it so get in touch with me if you need some help either to heal a crisis or to make your relationship the best it can be.

The relationship between the client and counsellor is important and together we will aim to establish a safe, trusting, supportive and confidential environment in which you can explore any aspect of difficulty that you are currently experiencing in your life with a view to making positive and lasting change.
Hello, I am a qualified and accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor. I offer to support clients with a range of issues including abuse, anger, anxiety & stress, addiction, depression, relationship, self-confidence and workplace issues. Clients I see come to counselling for many reasons, to give themselves the opportunity to explore, clarify, gain or increase awareness of difficulties or problems they are experiencing and, or how they may want to change unhelpful patterns of thoughts, feelings or behaviours they are experiencing with a view to finding their new pathway to a more comfortable and satisfying way of being in the world.

I specialise in working with those coping with trauma, relationship issues and those who struggle with pornography addictions.
I provide an integrative counselling experience. This means I utilise aspects of several models of therapy to suit individual circumstances. It is unrealistic to expect one model of therapy to work for everyone therefore, having access to several models provides an approach that may be tailored to each individual's needs. Therapy should be a collaborative experience where we work together to find the right solutions. In doing so, I hope to find long-term answers for those tired of the 'revolving door' experience of counselling with symptoms being temporarily relieved but continually recurring.

I never thought I would need therapy. My relationship with my wife was great. I was the managing director of a successful company. Then life got tough and we found ourselves in crisis. Going to couple therapy together saved our marriage! We’ve been back to therapy many times to keep our relationship on course. What I learned from our couple therapy and my years of one-to-one psychotherapy transformed my marriage and my life. The results of the therapy impressed me so much I decided to change career. I wanted to offer the valuable insights and knowledge I had learned to other individuals and couples in distress.

I believe the success of counselling is determined by the relationship created in the room between the counsellor and the client.
When we try to surpress strong emotions, they have a nasty habit of impacting on our lives in other ways through our behaviours. We can try to ignore them or numb them but they are still there. After a while the pressure grows and it starts to impact on those around us, our jobs, our families. You may feel alone and isolated and struggling to find the answer.

I am a very experienced and professional therapist with over twelve thousand client contact hours behind me in individual, couples and group work. I feel my experience coupled with my life experiences makes me the person and the therapist I am today. My training in the person-centred approach (three years) and in Transactional Analysis (seven years) together with continuing professional and personal development and supervision give me a strong theoretical and experiential focus to bring to my client work. I work very much in a relational way (research indicates that the therapeutic relationship is key to positive therapy outcomes)

As an Integrative Counsellor, Psychosexual & Relationship/Marriage therapist, I weave different therapies to support clients in their uniqueness to manage and heal from struggles that affect their emotional, and mental health & happiness. Ruptures in one's mental wellness can lead to stress, depression, anxiety, addiction, and sexual functioning/ identity concerns that hinder emotional self-esteem and ongoing happiness within and in our relationship with ourselves and others.

I am a transpersonal practitioner trained at the Psychosynthesis Trust. Transpersonal encompasses mind, body and spirit in the therapy process. It is primarily a talking therapy but it also involves experiential exercises, visualisation and guided meditation. Before I trained in psychotherapy I spent many years in the creative industries, where I became very familiar with anxiety and stress related conditions. I also have twenty years experience of working with alcohol and substance misuse. I work with anxiety, trauma, panic attacks, relationship problems and difficulties that occur in coping with everyday life.

Clients approach me when they are seeking greater fulfilment in their lives. Anxiety, fear, and stress, can sometimes affect the relationship we have with ourselves and others . Clients always need to know that they are listened to and taken seriously. This is achieved by helping clients to become more tolerant and kinder to themselves. This is what I believe is the basis to my style of Psychotherapy.

Some feelings and problems are hard to understand or to bear. Sometimes they are overwhelming in their intensity or sometimes we just feel stuck, as if things will never change. They may arise from a sudden personal crisis or from a relationship or from ongoing anxiety or depression. They can belong to the present but can also be rooted in painful experiences from the past. Psychotherapy offers a way to think about what is happening in the present, reflect on patterns and links from the past and explore how change can happen.

Relationship Issues Counsellors
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
