Thank you for taking the time to look at my page. i am an experienced counsellor who works with a wide range of presenting issues. The work we do together can be looking at events in your past that have impacted upon you and stay with you now, or the present and what is happening in your life that is making life difficult. Coping and adjusting to loss in any situation can be really tough, supporting you and offering you strategies can make the experience feel manageable Sometimes how we think does not often support or help us, therapy can explore and challenge this so we become more supportive of ourselves and rewrite the script.
I have a background of working in NHS settings both in Mental Health and Occupational Health so I have knowledge of these areas that might be relevant to you. I am interested in the relationship that you have with yourself and how that plays out in the decisions you make .
I am offering you a safe space to explore and try to make sense of what is happening to you . I also hope to build on your coping strategies to enable you to manage and navigate through your life as it is now. Developing a compassionate self for you to experience support from within is I believe key to sustaining you to deal with all that life throws at you.
