About
Are you a survivor of trauma? If so, you may be experiencing a variety of signs or symptoms. They can be subtle, obvious, and/or debilitating - lasting weeks, months, or even years. Recovering from trauma takes time and everyone heals at their own pace. Working through trauma can be scary and painful, but you do not have to go through the process alone. I am a compassionate, empathetic, and patient clinician, committed to building a trusting professional relationship with you. Together we will work to lessen the hold trauma has on your life and help you heal.
Some traumatic issues I can help with are: sexual violence, childhood abuse/neglect, grief, intimate partner violence, natural or man-made disasters, parental rejection, foster care system involved, bullying, war violence, severe illness or injury, witnessing the death of a family member or close friend, recent HIV/AIDS diagnosis, refugee experience, etc.
