I also worked as an school teacher for over ten years because I loved working with students. Life can hold much goodness, joy, and adventure, however we sometimes find ourselves feeling stuck in painful patterns or feeling lost. Maybe you are finding yourself or your relationships feeling disconnected, unfulfilled, or hopeless. I center my work around building an authentic and trustworthy therapeutic relationship where you can work through your life experiences, past or present, in a space of non-judgment and compassion. I offer individual or couples therapy and specialize in identity development and self-esteem, relationships, trauma, life transitions, and sex/sexuality.

I view therapy as an opportunity for growth and self-discovery. As humans, we have an innate drive toward wellness, and my task is to help facilitate that drive and help clear out the obstacles that are keeping you stuck. I walk alongside you, helping you to reach the outcomes you desire. My desire is to help you uncover the maladaptive coping patterns that have been developed over the years, and learn not to just to cope with your life circumstances, but to come to a place of thriving.

Parenting a child with autism or other developmental delays can be challenging. The usual strategies that work with other children often do not work well at all with a child who struggles with sensory processing differences, anxiety or other issues that go along with neurodevelopment conditions. I am an Asian family therapist serving therapeutic needs of children, individuals, couples and families. I will work at a pace that feels comfortable and safe, and also push you to explore parts of yourself that you may be avoiding.
