As a holistically-oriented emotional wellness practitioner, I enjoy working with individuals who are highly motivated for total wellness: physically, emotionally and spiritually. My ideal client is one who is self-motivated, who is willing to go to any lengths to become empowered. My practice focuses on working with individuals who would like to learn strategies for effective coping with chronic and acute illness, pain and disability, stress and anxiety, depression, and addictions. I utilize positive psychology coaching, hypnosis, addiction education and relapse prevention.

I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 25 years, working with a variety of individuals, couples, families and groups in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My holistic approach to psychotherapy tailors treatment to each client's individual needs and goals. I have worked with clients of all ages who struggle with a wide variety of issues. I believe that significant healing can take place within the therapeutic relationship and I am adept at creating a safe and comfortable space within which each client's personal growth process is respected and supported.

Academic achievement, learning styles, and classroom behaviors are important factors in helping students work to their potential and become successful adults. I am an educational diagnostician, who evaluates students in elementary, middle, and high schools. I have worked in the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) system for over 19 years. I am a National Board Certified Exceptional Needs Specialist and Educational Diagnostician. I use educational assessments and my extensive experience in educational processes to make recommendations to help students learn strategies that personally work best for them, develop more confidence, and promote academic success.

We are a small group of credentialed ABA Therapists that believe in helping children in their natural environment. We want to teach our clients the skills needed to have a happy and satisfying life. We use a family-centered approach as it is important to meet the family where they are, as well as to work on goals that are important to them. We work with children with a variety of abilities, to include autism, ADHD, ODD, LD, and other behavioral difficulties.

I work with athletes, First Responders, members of the military community and law enforcement, as well as gifted children and adults, and executives. My clients often have a strong motivation or feel a pressure to succeed in school, sports, work or life, and are frustrated by their inability to "master" this.
