Hello, I am a LPC here in Jacksonville Texas. I have been licensed for 7 years and have worked with a Behavioral support team in the school district. I have extensive experience with anxiety, ADHD issues, Autism perspectives, youth anger issues, ODD, drug and alcohol related issues and many psychological perspectives.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.

I have spent 25 years working in the mental health field, and during this time, I have gained expertise in helping individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, life challenges, and trauma.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Colorado with over 7 years experience as an intake coordinator, counselor and crisis prevention. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, mood disorders, intellectual disabilities, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

If you’re like me, you know what the right thing is. After all, you’re the expert on you. But that’s just the problem, isn’t it? You know the right thing, you know what’s true, and yet still you struggle with self-criticism and doubt. You know you can’t be perfect, and yet you feel shame for not being enough. And you don’t know how to reconcile what you know with what you feel. Truthfully, this is a common problem. But just because it’s common, doesn’t mean you have to go along with it.

I'm filled with hope for my clients as they grapple with the pain, hurt, suffering, or fear they are experiencing as they await the time when all things will be made new. I believe all people are created in the imago Dei, image of God, and have incredible worth and value. My desire is to be a conduit in which healing would pass through my life experience and professional training in a way that benefits and brings hope, health, and restoration to those I counsel.

I see clients both virtually and in person; and in our work together, you will create or reconnect with a life worth living. You will come to see emotions - even the painful emotions of anger, sadness and guilt - as signals that something needs your attention rather than something to be avoided. You will gain an understanding of who you are and how you are, which will facilitate personal changes you may want to make or help you navigate challenges you are facing. And maybe, most importantly, you will strengthen your relationship with yourself and with others.

Everyone has a unique and individual story. Sometimes this story has deep and dark moments or complex traumas affecting the course of an individual's life.
