For 34 years, I worked with children and adolescents, ages 5 to 19. Many of them struggled with issues related to trauma (parents with addiction, an incarcerated parent, neglect and abuse). I have worked with adults on developmental issues in schools and churches. I believe people of all ages possess the power to change, especially when they are supported in a safe environment.

I have worked in inpatient psychiatric units, specializing with PTSD, as well as crisis stabilization, substance use and group therapy. I have worked with family members who have loved ones with mental health issues.
