I define trauma as "anything too much, too fast, too soon, from which you felt like you had no escape." I partner with individuals processing through trauma. As a therapist with a background in intimate partner violence, family systems, and severe mental illness, I understand how each of these can impact a life today, even though the events may have occurred years ago. Trauma informed care is foremost, and my clients receive empathetic, thoughtful, and warm care rooted in self-empowerment.

Scott is an individual therapist who sees teens (16+) and adults. Scott believes in meeting people where they are at in their mental health journey. His style of therapy would be described as warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative.

I have an extensive experience working with mental health and substance use issues and supporting families. I enjoy working with individuals and couples; as well as parent coaching. Areas of specialty are anxiety and depression, women's emotional health, aging, trauma, grief and loss, body image and disordered eating, co-dependency, self-esteem, self-harm, and substance abuse/dependence. My approach is adaptive to whom I am working with. I have training in and utilize motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, solution focus, EMDR, 12 step facilitation, as well as psychoeducation.

Anna believes that it is important to meet people where they are, and work with clients to create the kind of life they find fulfilling.
