I utilize a variety of approaches in my work with clients, while tailoring each treatment plan to the individual and incorporating the goals that each person brings to treatment. Each person is unique and that is why I choose an integrative approach in my work. I incorporate both interpersonal and psychodynamic modalities with cognitive behavioral treatments in an effort to target both insight building and positive behavioral changes.
I have extensive experience in working with those who struggle with psychiatric illnesses (ie: depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and dual diagnosis). In addition, I also collaboratively work with those individuals who are looking for ways in which to manage life stressors such as work challenges, relationship difficulties and divorce.
I also treat those affected by these challenges in couples and/or family sessions and help to manage crisis situations and longer term management within the support system.
