I work with parents to help find more effective parenting skills that lead to less anxiety, frustration, and anger about their children or their children's choices. Together, we can develop strategies to reduce household stress and work to implement these strategies in multiple personal areas.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of South Carolina. I completed a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Georgia in 1979 and was licensed in 1989. I have both administrative and clinical experience in the mental health field. I have been in private practice since 1988, providing counseling services to patients of all ages. For the last ten years I am now focusing on adults and seniors. I focus on those who are trying to resolve issues related to depression, anxiety, grief, abuse, self awareness and acceptance, sexual orientation, and parenting.
