My approach is an Integrative approach that pulls from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy,  Internal Family System and EMDR work.
Maybe you struggle with depression, anxiety, feelings of unhappiness or unfulfillment. Sometimes life’s adversities take the best of us, and leave us lost, feeling numb or trapped in a cycle of self sabotaging behaviors that perpetuate our suffering. Whether it is the sudden rupture of a relationship, abuse, a traumatic loss, a divorce, abandonment, or work related stressors, I view these experiences as opportunities to grow into a better version of the self. I commend you for being brave and contemplating the thought of a better present, leaving past hurt behind, and embracing healing with therapy.

I am trained in Structural Family therapy which has given me experience with couples and families to work towards enhancing communication, empathy, and support.
I enjoy working with individuals seeking to find their voice as well as work through their experiences. I believe it is important for me to create a safe, judgment-free space for people to share their story. People should be able to process anything that may be impacting them or their relationships such as life transitions or trauma. My ideal client is someone willing to show up for themselves, everyone deserves a space to be heard. I have worked in non-profit for a few years and have experience with most topics.

I specialize in Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Structural Family Therapy while utilizing Emotionally Focused Therapy in individual and couple sessions.
The goal of therapy is not only to resolve a conflict or find an answer but to make a connection. I believe that the client drives the car of therapy while the therapist is in the passenger seat ensuring the ride is comfortable, the music is right and hazards or incomplete bridges are avoided. The brain and body should be aligned; therapy does just that. There does not always need to be a problem to go to therapy, the same way a car can use an oil change or detail before a long drive. It is hard to deal with emotional issues on your own, but more difficult to address and face them in therapy or even ask for help.

I specialize in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Multisystemic Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Structural Family Therapy.
How do we make sense of our stuff? This is a critical question. Life can be challenging and sometimes we can’t understand what we are experiencing and why. Much of our ability to overcome adversity originates from our mindset- how we process our experiences. It is the lens through which we view our reality. Essentially, what contributes to our overall well-being is not necessarily the absence of setbacks but rather how we respond to these experiences. I work with my clients to help them shift their mindset and to find meaning in all of life’s experiences.
