I specialize in assisting people who are LGBTQIA+, in a domestic violence situation, struggling with their body dysmorphia, eating disorders, and the struggles of aging.

I specialize in working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, personality disorders, and trauma. I work with kids, adults, LGBTQIA+, and Veterans utilizing an eclectic mix of evidence-based, person-centered treatment modalities including Mindfulness, Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I offer a non-judgmental, welcoming, safe space to explore and process difficult emotions so clients can heal and grow through a collaborative, individualized approach.

The decision to begin therapy can be challenging and can follow attempts to manage difficult life circumstances independently. I believe that healing begins when there is a safe, non judgmental space to grow a therapeutic relationship. I spent the early part of my career working extensively with adolescents and families which allowed me the opportunity to help them work through their trauma as they struggled with grief and loss, anxiety, self-injury, depression and PTSD. Additionally, I spent almost 7 years in an outpatient clinic as an Administrator, also providing clinical counseling to children, adults and families.

I have worked with all racial/ethnic groups, including American Natives, lifelong residents of a busy East coast metropolis and others who live in the rural Southwest, teens through the elderly. I have extensive experience diagnosing and treating individuals with ADHD, addictions, and Autism. I have gained the trust of many active duty military and veterans, as well as first responders. I am not easily scared off by extensive trauma and my toolbox includes EMDR, EFT/Tapping, CBT and Mindfulness Techniques.

My goal is to create a warm and nonjudgmental space to help support and empower clients as they are facing challenges and making difficult but necessary and beneficial changes in their life.
