Kim Logan Communications Christian Counseling Clinic has been successfully addressing the needs of families, youth and individuals experiencing problems, or those with maritial concerns, by providing family therapy, child therapy and substance abuse treatment. KLCC has provided employability training and substance abuse treatment to parole and probationary offenders since 1993.

I am trained in EMDR and strongly believe in a holistic wellness approach to working with people. Using EMDR and other therapeutic interventions to serve your mind, body, and soul allows me to see you as a whole person. If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, disability-related barriers, PTSD, cancer, hearing loss, or other stressors I am here to support you! I am a licensed professional counselor and certified rehabilitation counselor with over 18 years of affirming counseling experience providing a compassionate approach using a variety of individualized therapeutic interventions.

As a therapist, I approach all of my work from a social justice framework. I enjoy working with clients from diverse backgrounds, including those struggling with chronic illness or dynamic disabilities. I work with clients to set realistic, attainable goals for treatment. I aim for transparency in everything that I do. I particularly enjoy supporting women, members of the LGBTQ community and clients from other marginalized groups. I am culturally Deaf and fluent in ASL, and as such, I serve many Deaf clients. However, spoken English is my native language, so many of my clients are also hearing.

Serving the Metro Detroit area for over 20 years I have witnessed great transformation as individuals and families have become renewed, refreshed, refocused, reconciled, restored and more. Partners in Change provides individual, couples, family, and group therapies to all ages. This team of therapists provide state-of-the-art treatment for a variety of concerns including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, anger management issues, substance abuse, trauma/PTSD, eating disorders, pain services, perinatal/postnatal concerns, as well as marital and familial difficulties, and challenges experienced by emergency responders and public safety officers. Psychological assessments and psychiatric care for a variety of purposes are also available.

I have personal experience working with children and adolescents, young adults, relationships and life transitions. I have also worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, abuse, grief and loss and communication problems. I enjoy incorporating wellness in my sessions to help treat a clients symptoms. I minored in American Sign Language in college and currently am certified to teach ASL to children and adolescents and their families.
