It will also help to increase self-awareness, confidence, and regain one’s sense of purpose. Relational Therapy helps couples recommit to one another, increase intimacy and communication in your relationship as you work through relational transition, infidelity, family adjustment after kids, communication issues, trust, and intimacy issues.

My approach to counseling is based on the integration of my professional psychological training and personal experience. I personally have overcome abuse and addictions in my own life. I believe we were created to live in healthy relationships and I love working with people to help them live closer to who they were designed to be. Marylon Larkins, MA-LMHC-RN and Founder of Complete Life Counseling. She served 25+ yrs as an Oncology RN at Univ Hosp. in Cleveland Ohio. Marylon completed a MA in Counseling at Reformed Theological Seminary. There she developed the skills to counsel for various needs but her passion is Trauma and Faith-Based issues. She is versatile and compassionate with experience to support clients through Trauma, Couples relationship and Stress related to critical health diagnosis. Marylon has extensive understanding of her clients as a complete person and encourages each of them to live a complete life because "All Of Your Life Matters."

Clients come to my office to address an array of issues, but, first and foremost, they come to be heard and understood. I have spent my career learning how to find the best approach that feels right for each person. For adults this often includes getting to know yourself better with increased compassion. For children, I support learning new ways to reduce childhood stressors and acting out behaviors, often through play. This results in positive feelings between parents and their children.

As one ages, one experiences the "Winds of Change". Some of us experience these changes in our lives one at a time, and others experience a world wind that may take our breath away. As a therapist that concentrates on Holistic remedies, I find that many of us are not able to handle all of the changes that may occur at one time, which may leave us feeling depressed and/or anxious. However, during this state of "change" is it actually depression and/or anxiety... or is it a result of what has or is occurring in our lives?
