Many of the clients with whom I work experience anxiety, depression, addiction, or other disruptions in mood or behavior, that may affect their ability to live productive lives or merely be their best selves. Using a whole person, mindfulness approach, my goal is to help you identify areas in life where you feel challenged, stagnant or in need of focus, then work together to develop more adaptive means of coping and face such struggles head-on.
I use a client-centered approach to empower clients as they embarke upon their personal journey through the recovery process by means of utilizing mindfulness techniques, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral, and brief/solutions focused therapies. I also embrace less traditional approaches to treatment highlighting fitness, nutrition and mind/body wellness.
We are bombarded with hardships, stressors and family/life pressures that can feel burdensome and overwhelming. Self-discovery is not easy; the decision to begin therapy is a brave one! I hope to provide a safe space where clients feel supported, relaxed and nurtured as they begin their therapeutic journey.
