I'm aware things suck right now, otherwise you wouldn't be here looking for a therapist. Wading through 1000 profiles of counselors waxing on about themselves isn't helping much. So, I'm here to simplify things. The most important part of successful therapy is having a strong connection with your counselor. This generally means you share a similar vibe or interests. I like dad jokes. I dig art and all things creative. I collect tattoos. I love house music and was a club DJ in my younger days. I understand stress/anxiety (I'm also an attorney), divorce (been there, done that, got the t-shirts), parenting and existential angst.
I practice almost exclusively from a framework known as Internal Family Systems or IFS. If this means something to you, great. If not, we will simply be getting in touch with the parts of you that get in the way of where you want to be. You already come equipped with all the answers. I'm here to help you connect with them.
