About
Hey and Welcome! As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my primary goal is to create a space where my clients can show up as their authentic selves and address the various challenges that are creating a sense of hardship in their lives. I seek to create a therapeutic space that is collaborative, non-judgmental, and compassion focused. Supporting and witnessing the courageous, emotionally vulnerable, and occasionally challenging, work my clients are willing to do in therapy brings me a great sense of fulfillment.
My approach to therapy is empowerment based and rooted in self-determination, with an attentiveness to the nuance of intersecting identities and how these identities impact one's experience in this world. I specialize in working with folks who are navigating LGBTQIA+ related issues, cultural related challenges and oppression, emotional distress, and grief.
Seeking emotional support is not an easy choice to make and dependent on your particular community/communities, seeking support can also be stigmatizing and challenging. I offer a courtesy 15 min consultation phone call so that we can briefly discuss the reasons you are seeking support at this time and I can answer any questions that you might have.
