Being human is often messy and confusing, leaving us feeling lost, overwhelmed, or wounded. If you’re seeking guidance to reconnect with yourself and your innate inner wisdom, or if you're looking to heal from past wounds, you’ve come to the right place.

I am trained in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy ( AEDP) for individuals and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and families.
I have worked with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety/ trauma, insomnia, etc. I look for patterns and evaluate systemic factors to assess sources of internal distress. Collaborating as a guide and creating safety is my main focus. We offer integrative healthcare services through neurofeedback and brain health coaching. Studies show the best outcomes when utilizing both psychotherapy and medication. We have both natural and traditional when it comes to referring to a psychiatric provider.

Life presents a journey for us all to take. Whether it allows for hills or valleys, we have to decide how each defines our life. Therapy becomes our first step in taking back control and leaning into the joy that comes with healing. Wherever you are on your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you and conquer what’s to come. You’ve made the difficult decision to no longer allow shame to prevent you from embracing vulnerability. Healing can be difficult, but if given the opportunity, I will hold space for who you are. Not who you have become due to the challenges you’ve faced but who you are at your core.

You’ve always been the one who holds it all together – strong, calm, capable. But inside, there’s a heaviness you can’t shake. Maybe it’s the loss you never fully grieved, or the trauma you’ve tried to bury. Over time, it’s become harder to ignore – the anxiety, the loneliness, the sense of disconnect from those you love. You put on a brave face, but deep down, you feel stuck and unsure of how to move forward. You long for relief, for healing, to feel whole again. Together, we can explore those buried emotions, heal the wounds, and find your way back to yourself.

Do you struggle with people-pleasing and low self-esteem? Have you noticed that you don't know how to set boundaries with people? Maybe you're exhausted from living up to everyone else's expectations and your inner critic won't shut up. Believe me, I get it because my inner critic is loud and mean too, but by going on my therapy journey, I have learned how to turn down her volume and start treating myself with the same care as I do others and you can too. Let's take the "perfectionist" and "people-pleasing" out of your vocabulary and help you figure out who your authentic self is and how to let it out!

I believe in people. We are resilient. With connection and support, we can heal, change, and grow. My core values are connection and compassion, and I believe that healing happens when we connect with others who see us in our wholeness and listen compassionately. I continue to experience this healing myself, and offering it to others is my life’s work. I am currently a master’s degree candidate for clinical social work under clinical supervision.

Every individual is unique and has a distinctive perspective. There are many factors that contribute to the way we operate whether it is significant life events, relationships, or stressors. We are hard-wired to be in relationships with others. Relationships have a big impact on the way we are able to interact with others.

AEDP Therapists

Who is AEDP therapy for?

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) is for adults who have experienced emotional pain in the past that, because it has not been adequately addressed and processed, interferes with current functioning. The problems might manifest in a number of different ways, from excessive anger to relationship difficulties to PTSD to eating disorders, poor self-esteem, and depression. They may also be accompanied by physiological symptoms. AEDP helps people accept and digest challenging emotional experiences.

Why do people need AEDP?

People need AEDP as a way to manage distressing emotions—including anger, shame, and guilt—that in some way hamper the ability to function and form satisfying relationships in the present. The therapist-client relationship is believed to provide corrective emotional and relational experiences that facilitate positive changes in brain function, forge pathways for processing traumatic experiences, and allow resolution of emotional pain.

What happens in AEDP therapy?

Once individuals have established a strong bond with the AEDP therapist and the therapist has established a safe and secure environment, clients are encouraged to explore their most painful emotional experiences. They may be asked to pay attention to disquieting body sensations as well as to psychological discomfort. Individuals learn how to process emotions, rather than avoid them. Through the strength of the therapist-client bond, each session is intended to provide a powerful positive experience for individuals, enabling growth.

What problems does AEDP treat?

AEDP is intended to treat the unprocessed emotional pain caused by earlier distressing experiences, which commonly includes behavioral avoidance of current situations and experiences for fear that they will reactivate painful feelings. Emotional pain and avoidant behavior play a role in a wide array of mental health conditions, which is why AEDP is applied to the treatment of a range of disorders including depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship difficulties, and eating disorders.
