I work from a Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach to help you better understand the way your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are intertwined. My hours are 10:30AM to 5:15PM Sundays And 12:15PM to 6:15 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but contact me anytime. I connect well with teenagers that may be hesitant to attend therapy. I also have a lot of success working with men and women dealing with relationship issues.

My work as a therapist and an art therapist since 2014 has focused on supporting clients through life transitions, grief, identity concerns, coping with symptoms of anxiety and depression, and reducing pain while increasing ability for coping. I have experiences working with individuals in individual and group therapy using talk therapy and also art therapy. My populations have included emerging adults and adults at other points in their lifespan. I have over 9 years of experience providing clinical services to both adults and adolescents in residential, inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings. Hello, my name is Rocky Mays and I am currently accepting new clients. I have a sliding scale depending on household income ranging from $80-$130. I offer in-person and virtual appointments in the afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays. I specialize in working with teens, adults, parents, veterans, seniors, and couples on a wide range of identified concerns. I am currently a counselor for the Federal Government. My experiences also include working with youth in the justice system, providing clinical services for treatment centers, and working with veterans and their families struggling with various conditions.
