Most of our psychological pain and misery, our inhibitions and limitations in achieving a satisfying life, are the result of primitive anxieties that we carry within ourselves since the very time we were, indeed, really helpless. The psychoanalytic encounter allows one to become wiser and assume more responsibility towards oneself and toward others one lives with, cares for or simply meets in everyday life. It is a method that concentrates on the "Here and Now" and tries to free the mind from old -- and, usually, no longer all that helpful -- ways that we use to defend ourselves from pain.

I am a licensed psychoanalyst and a neuroscientist. I earned my PhD from University College London where I conducted seminal research in the field of neuroaesthetics. I coauthored three books on neuroscience, art and psychoanalysis and I have lectured for many years in the Psychology Department of Milano University.

I am a bilingual New York State licensed psychologist, with a prior training and practicing license from Buenos Aires, Argentina. My training started as a psychoanalyst during my early career years at the University of Buenos Aires; has expanded to an applied behavioral methodologist in working with children with Autism, and has continued to widen in training within Dialectical Behavioral framework, and relational psychotherapy.

She has treated a diverse set of adult clients across all life stages, navigating a wide range of psychiatric and medical challenges in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She specializes in trauma- and stressor-related disorders, anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, executive functioning, and the intersection of medical conditions and mental health.
