Dr. Melissa Deuter is Psychiatric Medical Director of Sigma Mental Health Urgent Care. She supervises a team of professionals providing immediate psychiatric appointments as well as psychotherapy. Sigma Mental Health Urgent Care takes same day appointments and walk-ins at our San Antonio location, and is open 7 days a week except major holidays. Our Austin location has limited services and we request that you call to schedule in Austin. We treat people during gaps in care, while they are waiting to get an appointment in the community, and we can continue treatment long-term when our clinic is the best fit for an individual's needs.

If you are suffering from medication-resistant depression, anxiety, OCD, or PTSD, a combination of talk therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) may be the answer for you. Dr. Randall McIntyre has been practicing Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry in the Austin area for over thirty years. He was raised in Midland, Texas. He holds a BA- biology from The University of Texas - Austin, and an MD from The University of Texas Medical School-Houston. He did his internship in Family Practice at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Subsequently, he completed residencies in General and Child Psychiatry at UTHSC-Houston. He is doubly Boarded in Child and Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

May Wang is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. After she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Austin, she obtained her Master’s in nursing with honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. May has several years of mental health experience working with a variety of patients in different settings. Her clinical background includes delivering psychiatric services to underserved communities in the state institution, children and adolescents with behavioral and neurobehavioral diagnoses and adults with mental illnesses and substance abuse disorders.

Domikah Burks is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She combines an evidence-based approach alongside a holistic approach to adult psychiatry and is able to use her experience to better understand each patient's unique dynamic. She received her education (MSN) and training from the University of Texas at Arlington -- where she received training in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Rhoda Madamombe is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (MSN, PMHNP-BC) and a member of the American Psychiatric Association. She graduated from Wilkes University and has been in the field of psychiatry since 2004. Rhoda has worked in psychiatric hospitals all her career. She worked for Medical City McKinney for 12 years holding various positions that include staff nurse, charge nurse, clinical supervisor, and nurse manager/PMHNP-BC.

Do you seek deep healing without pressing pause on your life? InnerSpace is an intensive outpatient program designed in an 8-week cycle. Our treatment methods help you find wellness while keeping you out of the hospital. With an interdisciplinary approach, InnerSpace combines therapeutic and psychiatric modalities. We specialize in treating mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD and learning disorders, and various forms of addiction. Group sessions occur on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4 pm to 7 pm. The program also includes individual therapy, individual psychiatry sessions, family sessions, treatment planning, and a feedback session upon completion of the program.

Seema Kazi, MD completed her dual-residency program in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of Connecticut in 1998, and in 1999 continued on to complete her fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at NYU. She has been in private practice for over 20 years and has worked as the Medical Director at Princeton House Behavioral Health Inpatient Services, providing the highest level of care for people of all ages that were struggling with mental health issues, substance abuse problems, or a combination of both. She moved from New Jersey to the greater DFW area to be near her family in 2013.

Amanda Anazia MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner as well as a certified family nurse practitioner. She is a part of the inaugural class of 2012 where she received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Texas State University. Amanda obtained her MSN from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she specialized in Family in 2020. She also obtained a Post-Master’s Certificate from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where she specialized as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2021.
