Seema Kazi, MD completed her dual-residency program in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of Connecticut in 1998, and in 1999 continued on to complete her fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at NYU. She has been in private practice for over 20 years and has worked as the Medical Director at Princeton House Behavioral Health Inpatient Services, providing the highest level of care for people of all ages that were struggling with mental health issues, substance abuse problems, or a combination of both. She moved from New Jersey to the greater DFW area to be near her family in 2013.
She accepts all major insurances, including Medicare. Currently accepting new patients. She treats all Psychiatric Conditions; Depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Panic Disorders, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Substance Abuse, is a licensed Suboxone Provider. She believes in, “learning about patients individually through time and compassion.
Dr. Kazi is trained to use holistic treatment using a comprehensive, individualized approach for mental healthcare. Her goal is to improve psychiatric care for patients which may include the continuation, changes, and possible discontinuation of medicine. With her team, on-site, she conducts Psychiatric Evaluations using on-site state of the art technology.
