It has always brought me great joy and fulfillment to be part of my patient’s journey, from seeking care to getting healed, through the best care I have been able to offer at their most vulnerable time of need. Having had firsthand experience with my fellow military colleagues, and my experience in clinical practice, the severity of mental health is not to be taken lightly.
When working with children, teens, adults and families I address the difficulties in behaviors, feelings and thinking presented. An initial evaluation explores present and past concerns involving school, work, family, crises, peers, emotions, thought patterns, development, physical health, and environment. A treatment plan is coordinated with the patient that unifies the biological, psychological and social issues. An integrated approach includes referrals to other professionals as needed. By practicing evidence based medication management, I review each patient's concerns during the initial assessment and at follow up appointments.
Seeking mental health treatment can be difficult, but you are taking an important step in improving your mental and emotional well-being. It's important to find a doctor you feel comfortable with, who is willing to listen without judgment, and who can treat you holistically. As a board-certified psychiatrist, I offer both psychotherapy and medication management, allowing me to individualize treatment according to your needs.

My primary area of interest is in working with families struggling with addiction, and supporting those in recovery through smart medication management and ongoing therapy. My belief in the recovery model informs my empathic yet pragmatic approach to behavioral healthcare.
Accepting new adult patients (18+). Both VIRTUAL and IN PERSON visits available. Request a new patient appointment online at www.AmyWaltonMD.com. I have been a board certified psychiatrist in Austin since 2007. After 13 years treating people in crisis at Seton Shoal Creek Hospital, I am acutely aware that the lack of mental health providers in Central Texas contributes in unnecessary delays in receiving high quality mental health treatment and can lead to psychiatric crisis and hospitalization. I opened my private practice to help bridge that gap.
I am an expert in the treatment of anxiety with medication management. In addition, I specialize in depression, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. Board Certified Psychiatrist with over 40 years of clinical experience.

We strive to be comprehensive in your care, listening to your needs and providing you with a personalized treatment plan. You might be recommended medication management, psychotherapy, or both. For those not seeking formal psychiatric care, Dr. Wang offers coaching and supervision as well.
I tend to have a trauma focused approach, which is to say that I specialize in treating humans. I believe it is essential to pay attention to the mind and body as a unified whole ;my goals are to work with patients to achieve their full potential and wellbeing. I have expertise in prescribing medications, but see them as only one part of the larger picture.
I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner working with clients since 2014 that believes in meeting people where they are at, giving consideration to the person as a whole, creating a treatment plan with you instead of at you, and transparency in treatment. I offer services both in person and through tele-psychiatry to ages 14 and older. I primarily work traditional hours but do offer Saturday appointments.
In the current healthcare environment, finding a provider to prescribe medications for mental health concerns can be a difficult and frustrating process. Many people search for months for a prescriber only to be told they must wait even longer on a waiting list. Some shy away from entering treatment due to fear of being judged or looked down upon because of their mental health or addiction struggles. The providers at Resolute are here to bridge the gap for people in need of psychiatric medication management and substance use treatment.
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with training and experience in treating vulnerable populations across the lifespan. I received my Master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health from UT Health Science Center. I have over 12 years of experience in mental health field with the last 6 years as a PMHNP working with children and adults. I am trained to provide advanced specialty care with dual emphasis on intervention through psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. I utilize evidence-based practice modalities while focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.
I feel that achieving health and happiness comes by addressing many aspects of life-mind, body, spirituality, social connectedness, etc. This holistic approach recognizes that we all have an inherent ability to achieve health and that the focus of treatment should be on addressing barriers to this vs. treating or "curing" a disease. None of my patients have been in a textbook. Diagnoses should be used as a general guide for treatment, but that treatment should be customized for each individual person by taking into account the ways in which they do not fit the "textbook diagnosis".
Human connection is an important component to Isabell’s philosophy for optimizing mental health. In addition to utilizing psycho-pharmaceuticals, advocating for connectedness and caring for our bodies and spiritual selves can make a large difference to our mental well-being. Isabell uses a person-centered approach, and she understands the vulnerability it takes for a patient to reach out for help when suffering from a mental illness. Mental illness and/or wellness will impact all aspects of a person’s life. Isabell believes in approaching mental health care with strategy, consistency and patience.

Dr. Weiss believes in meeting people where they are and custom-tailoring a plan to meet their specific concerns. He works with each individual and their family members as well as other medical treatment providers to create a plan that meets their needs. For some, this may include medication management whereas others require psychotherapy and finally certain patients may do best with both.
