Telehealth appointments are available! As both a Nurse Practitioner and a Psychologist, I bring a relatively rare combination of skills and ways of thinking about problems to the therapy process. I am keenly interested in helping you feel better both emotionally and physically as well as helping you be successful in the relationships that matter most to you. My goal is to provide seamless care so that as your doctor who knows you best, through therapy, I'm also managing the medications that are part of our collaborative treatment plan.

Most psychiatric patient comes into the office with a mental health problem and requires a professional to listen to their issues and assist them in meeting their needs. I first listen attentively to the patient for the reason of their concerns. Then, I perform an Initial Psychiatric Evaluation in according to the information the patient provided. After, this assessment I make an individual treatment plan and goals according to the patient's needs and with the patient's input. I believe in collaborating with my patients.

Dr. Mark Chofla is a board-certified psychiatrist and physician who completed his specialty residency training at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California at Davis, Dr. Chofla earned his medical degree from Midwestern University: Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.

I have over 10 years of nursing experience working with individuals across the lifespan in various settings. I graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and from Northern Kentucky University with a Master of Science in Nursing in Psychiatric Mental Health. As a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I am enthusiastic about incorporating my experience, skills, and knowledge to establish an enduring and trusting relationship with clients and hope to make a difference in their lives.
