Updated April 2024. Practice currently full. Hello! I'm Niamh (pronounced Neve). I specialize in depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, and pregnancy and postpartum (perinatal) mental health. I often work with clients who are dealing with high stress environments, burn-out, relationship issues, self-esteem, and adjustment issues. I believe that healing begins in a safe space. A place you can feel comfortable to grow, to explore, to reflect, and change. In your sessions with me, you should expect a warm, empathetic, non-judgmental person to accompany you on your therapy journey.
A bit about me: My family and I immigrated to the United States from the Republic of Ireland when I was a child. This experience has helped to inform who I am as a therapist and a person, which helps me to connect with clients from various cultures and backgrounds. I am married with 5 children, 1 of whom is a bonus child.
I have experience working in-person and as a telehealth provider. However, since the pandemic I have found that through telehealth, I can connect with my clients in their personal space, which often provides me with more insight and connection with my clients. It is my aim to provide compassionate, helpful therapy on a personal level with my clients.
