I work with Mothers who feel overwhelmed and anxious, but I also find that high-functioning or perfectionistic mothers work great with me as well.
If motherhood is not what you expected or you are feeling burnt out, my services may be beneficial.
I am a Christian and enjoy working with mothers from all backgrounds, but I would be a good fit if you want to understand how improvement in your faith can help you grow stronger in your relationship with your kids, spouse, and yourself.
I absolutely believe knowledge is power and, in every session, I try to uncover where your gaps of information may be to help with forward movement.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, panic attacks, relationship stress, and life transitions. Many are new to therapy and want support understanding family-of-origin patterns, past relational wounds, or why certain dynamics keep repeating. I often work with thoughtful, sensitive people who find themselves overextending in relationships or struggling to set boundaries while trying to care for others. This may show up as anxiety, panic, and relationship exhaustion.
I also support twins and multiples, bringing both lived experience as an identical twin and consultation within a specialized group of therapists who work with twins.

Often times, life stressors within our significant relationships are what prompt us to seek additional support in the form of therapy. Similarly, when we experience emotional distress, it typically impacts important relationships and environments, including friendships, school and work. It is my goal to help individuals and families explore and solve their relational, emotional and behavioral concerns. My style of therapy is focused on symptom reduction rather than diagnoses or labels, and on improving one's overall health and quality of life.

Do you feel exhausted and on-edge? Carrying the burden of your past, constantly replaying it in your head and watching it bleed into your present? Have you tried to tell your story, but never truly felt understood? Have you tried therapy before, but it felt like you were talking to a wall?
You’ve come to the right place. As a queer, neurodivergent therapist, and a domestic violence survivor, I understand my clients because I’ve been where they are. Feeling unseen and unknown, trying to hold it all together in a neurotypical world with little compassion for your trauma.

I want to honor your journey towards inner healing as we tackle various aspects of emotional, relational, spiritual, and physical realities. I believe healing begins with honesty with oneself. This can be the first step - asking yourself what do you want and what do you not want? The second step - slowing down long enough to notice. I want to help you discover your true identity. You were created to be loved, beautiful and whole. I believe every individual has the capacity to heal and rise above even the most painful pasts. I want to help you honestly confront your story.

Life can feel impossible to navigate alone. Sometimes it’s a lost feeling of disconnection from ourselves. Other times maybe it’s relationship patterns that feel unsustainable. Or perhaps it’s a desire to deepen your connection to your intuitive wisdom. Whatever the reason, counseling is a space for us to come together and discover what you need most. You don't have to do it alone. My framework in our work together is grounded in attachment science and the belief that connection to self and other is a basic tenant of human wellness. While leaning in can be terrifying, I'll be there every step of the way.

We ALL need a therapist, whether we like to admit it or not. We’re either struggling with our internal dialogue or external actions and behaviors. Having the space and freedom to say what we wish to but can’t/won’t goes a long way in helping us feel more like us.

You live with contradictions that don’t make sense – feeling flooded with emotion one moment and completely numb the next. You try to function, but part of you feels detached from the world and even from yourself. Memories come in fragments, emotions feel too big to handle, and despite years of effort, the pain still feels lodged deep inside. You hear confusing terms like “complex trauma,” “PTSD,” or “dissociation,” but they don’t help you “move on.” You want relief that actually lasts – not another coping skill or surface-level fix, but real healing that reaches the roots of your trauma and restores your sense of wholeness.

Is everyone in the Psychology Today Therapy Directory a licensed therapist?
The Psychology Today directory lists providers who offer legitimate mental health services to the public, including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors.
Many have been licensed by the country or state where they practice; providers whose license or primary credential has been verified by Psychology Today are signified by a “Verified” symbol. Some clinicians or organizations provide services for which their state or country does not offer licenses, such as pastoral counseling. They may be selectively included without the “Verified” seal.

What’s the difference between a psychologist, a therapist, and a counselor?
Therapists, psychologists, and counselors are all licensed mental health professionals. In the US, psychologists have earned a doctoral degree. The terms “therapist” and “counselor” are used somewhat interchangeably, but generally therapists offer longer-term, mental health care, while counselors offer shorter-term care that may focus on one domain, such as marriage, career, or academic challenges.
Clients should consider factors such as insurance coverage and their primary reason(s) for seeking therapy to determine the type of professional best suited to their needs. Someone struggling with mental health challenges such as depression or anxiety, for example, may wish to seek out a clinical psychologist or therapist, while someone navigating career obstacles or marital upheaval may benefit from seeing a counselor who can offer short-term, targeted support.

What type of therapy is right for me?
The type of therapy best suited to a particular individual depends on several factors, including their primary reason for seeking therapy, their preferred timeline (some therapy types last for a set number of sessions, while others are open-ended), and their personality and preferences—some may prefer a more structured approach. For many individuals, multiple types of therapy could provide a good fit.
How much does therapy cost?
The cost of therapy depends on a number of variables, including location and the therapist’s experience and training. On average, a therapy session in the United States could cost between $100 and $200 or more. If you have insurance, the expense of mental health care is typically lower, but it varies based on your insurance plan details and whether you choose an in-network or out-of-network mental healthcare provider.
What are more affordable or low cost therapy solutions?
Many therapists offer sliding scale payments, usually on a limited number of slots, which consists in an agreement between the therapist and a client to pay a reduced rate. Therapists who provide such arrangements often consider the client's income or ability to pay, but the extent of the discount is ultimately at the therapist's discretion. Furthermore, while group therapy may have different goals and benefits compared to individual therapy, it can be a more affordable solution to address certain types of issues.
Is online therapy cheaper than in-person therapy?
Many therapists charge the same amount for online therapy as they do for in-person therapy—though clients may still find this cost-effective if it cuts down on their transportation costs. Health insurance plans often offer equivalent coverage for online and in-person therapy; indeed, in many places, they are legally required to do so. Text-based or on-demand therapy apps may be cheaper than traditional one-on-one psychotherapy; however, the practice may be less effective and is not likely to be covered by insurance.
Is online therapy a good option?
Therapy conducted online can be just as effective as in-person therapy, as long as there is a strong alliance between the client and the therapist. To find a therapist who provides telehealth services to clients in your area, click “Online Therapy” on the directory homepage and search by your city or town or your zip code.
Are therapy sessions confidential?
Confidentiality is a crucial part of the therapeutic relationship. Therapists in the United States are bound by the regulations set out by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), which aims to protect sensitive health information. With very few exceptions, a therapist will only discuss their client with others when the client has given their written permission. The instances in which a therapist would be required to disclose personal information are: if a client poses a danger to themselves or others, if the therapist suspects the abuse of a child or an elderly or otherwise dependent adult, or if they are legally forced to by court order. These exceptions to the confidentiality agreement are usually discussed with a client before their first session.
