I offer a calm, attuned environment where clients can speak freely, make meaningful connections, and gently explore the areas of life that feel stuck. With a warm, collaborative approach, I will support you to slow down, listen inwardly, and begin the process of healing. I have experience supporting clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and with a wide range of issues. If you are navigating childhood trauma, grief, anxiety, low mood, relationship or family challenges, or are trying to understand recurring behavioural patterns, I believe change grows from self-awareness and a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Do you feel anxious, depressed, flat and disconnected? Do you feel burnt out from trying to keep up and fit in? Have you worked hard to establish yourself, only to now find that something essential is missing? Do you long to break free, and align your life more with your longing, your wildness, your eros and freedom of expression? Are you concerned by what you see happening in the world, and do you wish all the more urgently and passionately to finally cultivate a way of being, being with others and being in the world, true to you?

I work as an integrative psychotherapist, drawing on both an existential phenomenological approach (focusing on lived experience and themes such as choice, meaning, and responsibility) and a psychodynamic perspective (which explores how early relationships shape present experience and future possibilities).

Trained in a Humanistic-Integrative perspective, I hold the belief that everyone has the innate capacity for growth and healing, when in a supportive and understanding environment. Therefore at the heart of my practice is to establish a secure, safe, therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and collaboration.  I believe our early relationships and experiences deeply influence how we feel about ourselves and connect with others. When those needs weren’t fully met, it can show up later as anxiety, low mood, or struggles in relationships. Therapy offers a space to gently explore those patterns and create new ways of being.

I often work with people who are feeling anxious, depressed, stuck, or overwhelmed. Many have developed creative ways of coping that once kept them safe, but now feel painful or limiting. For some, this can involve pushing feelings aside, holding parts of themselves back, staying busy or avoiding looking too closely at what feels uncomfortable, leaving them feeling disconnected from themselves or others. A central part of my work is supporting people to navigate opposing truths, as both therapy and life can involve balancing hope and despair, comfort and challenge, fragility and strength, safety and risk, holding on and letting go.

Often the best starting place for therapy is to talk about some of the thoughts and feelings that you've been having. Perhaps you are feeling depressed, anxious or overwhelmed? Maybe you're struggling to make sense of a relationship, or a problematic behaviour? Perhaps you are hoping to find a new direction in life? In our work together, my aim is to be guided by your sense of curiosity while making sure that any sensitive topics or memories can emerge gently and at your own pace. It may sound simple but this kind of therapeutic conversation can help you to reflect deeply on your life and open up new avenues for your future.

You may be feeling anxious, low, or unsettled, or noticing that familiar patterns keep showing up in your relationships or in how you relate to yourself. You might be unsure why life feels difficult, or sense that something isn’t quite working, even if things appear fine on the surface. Perhaps a loss or significant transition has made life feel unbearable or empty. Often, people want a space to reflect with someone else, to feel listened to, engaged with, and genuinely heard. From there, it can become possible to gain awareness of what’s going on for you, and begin to approach your life and choices with intention and compassion.

I work with adults navigating relationship challenges, sexual and intimacy concerns, neurodivergence (ADHD/ASD), and the pressures of professional life. Many of the people I see are highly driven but struggle with connection, repeated patterns in relationships, or feeling “stuck” despite success at work. Drawing on psychodynamic insight, practical strategies, and my corporate background, I help clients understand how past patterns shape current relationships, sexual intimacy, and work dynamics, and create ways to engage differently, more confidently, and authentically.

You may be feeling lost, unseen, or worn down by the sense of being different. Perhaps something doesn’t feel quite right, but it’s hard to name exactly what. Living with uncertainty, self-doubt, or difficult emotions can be exhausting. I have experience working with clients facing depression, anxiety, grief, burnout, questions of identity and belonging, complex family relationships, intergenerational trauma, and inter-racial or inter-faith relationship issues.

The ideal client is of course anyone ready to make real change in their lives, but I work with many seeking to reach that point. Clients see me asking “Why do I feel like this?” Once we have worked through why you do, the next goal is to see how you can change your mindset, rewrite the script so that your attitude to certain situations no longer causes you distress.

If you’re feeling low, anxious, stressed or simply unsure of why things feel so heavy, you’re not alone. I offer a space where you can pause, breathe and begin making sense of what’s going on inside you.

Sometimes it looks like you’re managing just fine — you’re capable, driven, and the one others turn to for support. But inside, you might feel anxious, exhausted, or unsure of what’s next. Maybe you’re carrying unspoken grief, moving through burnout, or simply questioning whether the life you’ve built still fits. Many of my clients work in high-pressure environments — leaders, founders, creatives, and high-profile professionals — but you don’t need a big title to belong here. If you carry a lot for others and rarely put yourself first, this space is for you.

As a Psychotherapist, I support individuals navigating life changes and challenges. It is natural to experience anxiety, depression, or feelings of stagnation at times. You may be struggling with a lack of motivation, the effects of trauma, or the pain of loss. Work-related stress, relationship issues, and the desire for personal growth are also common concerns. Therapy offers a safe space to explore and understand these experiences, helping you build self-awareness, develop coping strategies, and strengthen your relationships.

Learn more about how to find a therapist

Is everyone in the Psychology Today Therapy Directory a licensed therapist?

Counsellors and Psychotherapists listed in the directory are members of the main professional associations, mainly the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). Most Psychologists in the directory are accredited members of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and/or are registered in the Health and Care Professions Council (HPCP).

Providers whose professional membership or primary credential has been verified by Psychology Today are signified by a “Verified” symbol. Given that professional memberships are not a statutory requirement for psychotherapists and counsellors in the UK, certain qualified professionals or organisations may choose not to maintain such memberships despite possessing the necessary qualifications. They may be selectively included without the “Verified” seal.

What’s the difference between a psychologist, a therapist, and a counsellor?

Counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists can all provide counselling or talking therapy and have credentials and experience that enable them to do so in the UK. Psychologists have earned a degree in psychology and many are members of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and have completed a postgraduate qualification in a specialism. Counsellors and Psychotherapists are not required to have a psychology degree, but to belong to a professional organisation such as the BACP or UKCP, they are required to have completed a training course as well as clinical and supervision hours.

What type of therapy is right for me?

The type of therapy best suited to a particular individual depends on several factors, including their primary reason for seeking therapy, their preferred timeline (some therapy types last for a set number of sessions, while others are open-ended), and their personality and preferences—some may prefer a more structured approach. For many individuals, multiple types of therapy could provide a good fit.

How much does therapy cost?

The cost of therapy depends on a number of variables, including location and the therapist’s experience and training. On average, a therapy session in the UK could be between £30 - £60 when seeing a counsellor and £60 - £150 and up when seeing a clinical psychologist. If you have private insurance, your plan may cover some if not all of your sessions. You should contact your insurance provider to determine if they provide coverage for therapy sessions and to determine what, if any, requirements they might have in order for your sessions to be covered, such as a referral from your GP or medical specialist.

What are more affordable or low cost therapy solutions?

Many therapists offer sliding scale payments, usually on a limited number of slots, which consists in an agreement between the therapist and a client to pay a reduced rate. Therapists who provide such arrangements often consider the client's income or ability to pay, but the extent of the discount is ultimately at the therapist's discretion. Furthermore, while group therapy may have different goals and benefits compared to individual therapy, it can be a more affordable solution to address certain types of issues.

If you are struggling to access therapy due to budget constraints, you could also consider public funded mental health services. The NHS Talking therapies programme offers free of charge counselling for common mental health problems like anxiety and depression. The service is available to anyone registered with a GP, though you do not necessarily need to be referred by your GP and can refer yourself directly to a Talking therapies service. The service will provide different solutions, including group and individual therapy, for a limited number of sessions which are generally up to six.

Is online therapy cheaper than in-person therapy?

Many therapists charge the same amount for online therapy as they do for in-person therapy—though clients may still find this cost-effective if it cuts down on their transportation costs. Health insurance plans often offer equivalent coverage for online and in-person therapy; indeed, in many places, they are legally required to do so. Text-based or on-demand therapy apps may be cheaper than traditional one-on-one psychotherapy; however, the practice may be less effective and is not likely to be covered by insurance.

Is online therapy a good option?

Therapy conducted online can be just as effective as in-person therapy, as long as there is a strong alliance between the client and the therapist. To find a therapist who provides telehealth services to clients in your area, click “Online Therapy” on the directory homepage and search by your city or town or your postcode.

Are therapy sessions confidential?

Therapists who are part of a professional organisation such as the BACP, the UKCP, or BPS are bound by an ethical framework that requires them to uphold a confidentiality agreement. Confidentiality is a crucial part of the therapeutic relationship and only under specific circumstances, such as when there has been participation in a criminal act or act of terror, or if there is potential or known harm to the client or others, will a therapist be obligated to break the agreement. These exceptions to the confidentiality agreement are usually discussed during the initial consultation.
