I often tell my clients (and remind myself!) that uncertainty, loss, and worry - are all parts of being human. Yet, sometimes, it all may become overwhelming. What used to help, no longer does, and we end up feeling stuck in a pattern. We might struggle in relationships, at work, and more. Therapy can help you make sense of it all, to find clarity. As your therapist, I will support you to carefully and safely unpack any difficulties you might be facing. We will work together to understand all those parts of you, that make you who you are. We will do so with curiosity, honesty, and a sense of humour (where appropriate, of course).

Wanting to live a happy, purposeful and fulfilled life shouldn't feel like an impossible goal. You have a right to all these things. Even getting this far might have been difficult, but you've taken the first step to trying to make changes, feel better or have a better understanding of the world around you. Working together with you, I can help with all of these things. Everyday life can heap pressures on people and we can find ourselves anxious, worried, depressed or maybe just a niggling feeling that something isn't right. You might feel like this, and that there isn't a way forward, but there is.

Whether you are currently looking for yourself or your child - getting a 'feel' for whether I am the right therapist for you/them without worrying about the expense is crucial- therefore I invite you to get in touch for a free phone/video consultation to enable us to get to know each other. I am warm, caring and non-judgmental- a person who cares deeply for my clients who bring a vast range of challenges. Get in touch now - I'd love to hear from you.

So often clients' unhelpful experiences of therapy are attributed to their therapist being "silent", "difficult to connect with" or (at worst) "like a brick wall". The psychologically informed, dedicated and authentic experience I deliver requires me to be active, present and, primarily, something resembling an authentic human being whom I hope you will trust and feel at ease with. You will have the time and space to talk (without awkward silences!) and where desired, I can share with you knowledge/theory acquired from 10 years clinical experience, to help us collaboratively explore, enlighten and enhance your lived experience.

We aren't meant to fit into boxes. I believe that you are the expert of yourself and that my role is to help you explore whatever you bring in a nonjudgmental way with awareness, curiosity, and support. What brings you here today? Sometimes we seek therapy because we need someone to listen without judgment. Other times, we may feel that we have lost ourselves, or are trying to figure out who we want to be going forward. While there is no magic wand to get there in an instant, my practice style is to come alongside you and hold a safe space for you on your therapeutic journey.

Be a lamp, or a lifeboat, or a ladder. Help someone's soul heal'. (Rumi). As a therapist, for me this sums up counselling in one short sentence, which is helping and facilitating the healing process. I am a fully qualified person-centred, and integrative therapist. I offer safe, non-judgemental, confidential therapy for you to explore your concerns and issues. Having a non-judgemental and supportive manner is essential in the work I do with people. I feel this allows people to be more comfortable within the process of therapy and allows them to safely explore the issues they are bringing to therapy.

Do you want to be free of Anxiety, constant overthinking, feeling overwhelmed, these are some of the topics I work with and have helped clients to see things differently. Do you want it to stop and be free of the anxiety, then I can help with that. We explore this together and put steps in place to get rid of it for good. Do you experience stress in the workplace or in your relationship, but you do not want to talk to friends or family, this is a space to do that openly and without limits. Have you kept a bereavement or loss to yourself so you don't "burden" others, I can help with that also. Get in touch for a chat.

Not accepting new clients
X I am not currently accepting new clients X Are you struggling with anxiety due to loss, relationships, work or coming to terms with episodes from your past? Maybe you want to explore why you behave, think or feel as you do, which can lead to positive change or self-acceptance. Have you kept worries to yourself for a while, not sleeping and not sharing how you really feel because you’re frightened that people won’t understand or that you’ll be a burden?
