Thanks for stopping by! I am a Brainspotting-trained psychotherapist, and have been in the social work/mental health field for more than a decade. I (maybe like you?) have moved through a life that has not always been kind, easy, or safe. I was fortunate to find counselors who helped me reprocess and heal, and form a healthier, more secure sense of self. Through this personal work I became inspired to become a counselor and support others in similar ways.

It's important for me to build trust and respect with each of my clients so that I can provide a safe, non-judgmental place while you share your personal journey. I enjoy working with teenagers, young adults, independent moms, or a parent and child together. You may be struggling due to daily life stressors, life transitions, conflictual relationships, self identity, abandonment, abuse, neglect, or family conflict.

Hi there! My name is Kaitlyn Bork. The first thing that I want to say is welcome to my page! I typically like to tell my clients that I am a human first and focus on building a collaborative relationship together. One of my primary goals in therapy is to create a space where you feel respected and safe to explore different areas to meet your goals.

Many people experience challenges in their life, whether it be their marriage, family, or personal life. Transitions, change, and conflict are inevitable, and when individuals are open, courageous, and ready for change, counseling can be very effective. Not every therapist will be good for every situation, and that is why I have spent my career specializing in marriage and family therapy. Many relationships need help at one point or another, but I can help individuals and couples move from confusion to clarity. Are you trying to determine if your relationship is destructive? The struggles that bring people in therapy are myriad and each person’s situation is unique. As such, my treatment philosophy is that our work together should be driven by your goals and informed by your strengths. Many of my specialty areas relate to anxiety including social anxiety, panic disorder, specific phobias, OCD, trich, and tics. I am one of only a few clinicians in the area certified to treat OCD. I also work with the LGBTQ+ population and provide support before, during, and after gender-affirming transition. I love working with couples, adults, and adolescents and with women before, during, and after pregnancy to address their unique mental health needs (pre and postpartum depression, OCD, and anxiety).
