I am well-versed in trauma informed care with exceptional experience treating acute and long term effects of trauma, including posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

We provide behavioral health services with professional excellence, Christian integrity, professional insight, and genuine compassion. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 17 years of experience in mental health, including research, prevention, psycho-education and direct practice. I work with individuals, couples and families to identify areas of desired growth, process the formation of maladaptive patterns and enact strategies focused on lasting change.

I am a trauma-informed resident in counseling working toward my LPC. I help those struggling with anxiety, depression, complex trauma, PTSD, D.I.D, self-harm, sexual struggles, and some addictions. My approach is rooted in sensorimotor psychotherapy, interpersonal neurobiology, neuroscience, and narrative therapy, among other evidence-based practices, CBT, DBT, IFS, etc. With an understanding of how trauma impacts the brain, mind, and body, I provide a safe space for healing; by listening and understanding your perspective to identify what’s working for you and what you want to change.

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a passion for helping others on their journeys to healing, self-discovery, and growth. I have experience working with youth, adolescents, and adults providing individual, family, and couples therapy. Psychological assessments are also provided. I have obtained advanced training in trauma treatment, which includes various modalities such as art/play therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and EMDR. I have over 14 years of experience working in community mental health, alternative school settings, residential treatment, outpatient settings, and correctional facilities.

I work to help my clients create a stronger connection to their essential self by using an integrative approach to wellness and health. I provide my clients with resources, support, and education. Through my roles as facilitator, guide, and nurturer, I provide a safe, sacred space for clients to explore their vulnerability, potential, and limitations. Grounded in the essential self, clients can observe their present situation with more awareness and can actively access their full potential for shifting any blocks, barriers and distortions that may be preventing them from achieving their goals.

As an LPC with 20+ yrs of experience, I feel honored to be able to work with many different clients during what is often a vulnerable time. I bring empathy and compassion to therapy sessions, which may focus on trauma, anxiety, depression, postpartum/perinatal mood disorders, eating disorders, infertility, parenting and addictions. I also work with grief and loss, including pregnancy and child loss. I specialize in navigating relationship crises, infidelity and narcissistic abuse. Many clients are LGBTQ+, and come in for gender affirming care. I am the founder of Falls Church Wellness Center, a mental & physical health facility.
