I am a trauma-informed resident in counseling working toward my LPC. I help those struggling with anxiety, depression, complex trauma, PTSD, D.I.D, self-harm, sexual struggles, and some addictions. My approach is rooted in sensorimotor psychotherapy, interpersonal neurobiology, neuroscience, and narrative therapy, among other evidence-based practices, CBT, DBT, IFS, etc. With an understanding of how trauma impacts the brain, mind, and body, I provide a safe space for healing; by listening and understanding your perspective to identify what’s working for you and what you want to change.
From our initial session, we embark on a healing journey starting with resources designed to reduce current symptoms. Your story is the cornerstone of our work together, and through collaboration, we create goals that address both the past and present, we’ll craft a fresh narrative of your story, empowering you to move beyond your past experiences.
My self-pay rate is $85 per hour. I accept Medicaid, Aetna, Healthkeepers Plus, Meridian, Optima, UMR, and Virginia Premier. For the quickest response, please email me. Overcomers Outreach
Overcomers is an international network of free, anonymous Christ-centered 12 Step support groups which minister to individuals, their families and loved ones who suffer from the consequences of any addictive behavior, abuse, anger, sexual addictions, eating disorders, and other compulsive behaviors. We exist to serve as a bridge between traditional Twelve step recovery groups and churches of all denominations. We recover together as we meet to study and grow in God's Word. Our ministry is all welcoming, regardless of age, race, lifestyle, background, or belief.
