I offer compassionate, individualized care for those navigating emotional or behavioral challenges. My trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach blends evidence-based practices with deep empathy and lived experience. Originally from outside the U.S., my own healing journey led me to become a therapist in 2012 while living in Okinawa, Japan. Now based in Virginia and pursuing a PhD in developmental psychology, I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where clients can kick their feet up on the couch—relax, cry, vent, or simply sit quietly—and, when ready, begin the work of healing at their own pace.
My approach is calm, down-to-earth, and tailored to each client.

With children, sessions may involve play, art, or games—each grounded in clinical intention. Progress may be gradual, but with trust and consistency, change begins—often quietly, like roots growing before the sprout.
