Philosophy of Care: I approach the therapeutic relationship as an essential part of the healing process. Life can present us with many challenges. I utilize many of the theoretical orientations that I have learned through my years of being a healing practitioner. I bring a wealth of experience to the table, having worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Play Therapist for about 14 years. I have practiced in several cities across the U.S., such as San Francisco, Boston, and now Highland, I am well-equipped to provide effective and compassionate therapy to those in need.

Each client who enters my office desires deeper personal connections, less stress and more hope. I specialize in helping clients who struggle with codependency, anxiety and trauma. I also love helping people learn to set boundaries and communicate more effectively. The clients who fit best with me are people who have struggled with feelings of guilt for taking care of themselves and who don't know where to start when it comes to setting boundaries. I also work well with clients who are ready to start processing, healing and resolving trauma both large and small, and treating themselves with more compassion. I am also passionate about providing supervision for interns and provisionally licensed therapists, including MFTs.
