Philosophy of Care: I approach the therapeutic relationship as an essential part of the healing process. Life can present us with many challenges. Many of us pass through experiences that can impact our emotional stability and create struggles to connect with ourselves and with others. I work within the context of the therapeutic setting with a comprehensive approach. I utilize many of the theoretical orientations that I have learned through my years of being a healing practitioner. As a therapist, I strive to assist my clients in increasing their overall quality of life.
I specialize in family systems, dreamwork, substance abuse, domestic violence, trauma and addiction.
The therapeutic relationship is a unique interpersonal experience. There is a mutual exchange of insight, intention, and “good works” that can be fostered in this relationship. I strive to identify and understand the emotional dysregulation that is often present in those that seek the guidance and support of a trained professional.
