I counsel children and adolescents, from ages 6-18, on academic and behavioral matters including, but not limited to, the following: Goal-Setting, Study Skills, Test-Taking Strategies, Organization/Time Management, Non-Violent Conflict Resolution, Respect/Responsibility, Decision-Making, New School Transitions, Self-Esteem Issues, Grief/Bereavement, Stress Management, Anger Management, and College/Career Awareness, Exploration and Planning. I also work with adults of all ages and life stages on a range of issues, including anxiety and depression, eating disorders and PTSD.

It is easy to become overwhelmed with daily hassles and unexpected stressors. Life can be challenging and the stress can be hard to manage at times. You have taken the first step to gain control of your worries and add joy and fulfillment to your life. I can help you explore ways to minimize stress, decrease depressive symptoms, and find a healthy balance in life.

Often in life we can find ourself in a place of distress, darkness, chaos and feel like there is nobody that understands or cares. Sometimes you are the parent of the child that is always kicked out of school, or you painfully watch your child go through something you know is just so upsetting but you are not able to help. Maybe you are told you are just not enough so much that you have started to believe it. I am a prescriptive therapist with a vast array of skills and training ready to set some goals and work to help you make change happen.

I have experience working with Individuals, family/couples, trauma victims, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, anger management and personality disorders. When working with families, together we will improve communication skills, develop effective strategies for conflict resolution and embrace a plan for building a deeper family connection.
