It is my pleasure to work with adult patients 18+ years old as a faith based therapist. Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, panic, depression, PTSD, grief, abuse, AD/HD and personality disorders is available for individuals. As a National Certified Parenting Coordinator I also work with parenting, family, couple issues, blended families, co-parenting and divorcing couples who want to work toward agreements that result in the best interest of their child(ren).

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a proven background as a clinical practitioner. I completed a Master of Social Work degree from Howard University in 1979. My formal education and training coupled with many years of hands-on experiences have driven my practice skills. I have worked in many areas of social work, as well as working with different populations. Since 2009, my primary focus has been working with the diverse elderly population in managed care and long-term care settings.

I place no limits on clients' presenting challenges. I see several clients from minors to adults who are struggling with depression, substance use disorders, and anxiety. Also, I see a number of clients who are struggling with complicated grief or OCD or ADHD. All of my client's goals include developing coping skills to achieve better living conditions.

I work to establish an environment where you will not be judged but heard and understood.I have extensive experience working with individuals with mood disorders, personality disorders, and substance use diagnoses. Treatment is client driven and focused. We will work together to achieve whatever outcome you are seeking. I will work with clients to identify issues, listen to their needs, and assist them with goal setting. Counseling is online, certified in Illinois CAADC and South Carolina AADC, so its flexible, easy access, safe and in the privacy of your own home. Our assessments extend beyond a one-time office visit. We prioritize capturing the most accurate daily picture of your child's abilities. When appropriate, we offer the option to conduct observations in their natural environment like school. In addition to evaluations for disabilities, we also conduct WISC-V and WAIS-IV assessments for giftedness and provide admissions testing for private schools.
