The Psychological Services Center (PSC) is a nonprofit community mental health center established in the early 1970s. Our center provides counseling and psychological services for mental health and relationship issues, as well as comprehensive psychological assessments. Artful Explorations Therapy is led by Kristen Rashid, a registered, board-certified art therapist who's been working with kids, teens, and adults in Philadelphia for over a decade. We offer support in navigating through a range of issues including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, adjustments, divorce, grief/loss, behavior difficulties, depression, and anger. We meet clients where they are and help them engage in the creative process of making art as a way to express themselves, increase insight, spark change, make connections, and develop coping and problem solving skills.

She has a BS in Human Services from the University of Delaware, an MS in School Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a PsyD in School Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. MJ specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults up to age 25. She uses individualized treatment plans to meet the strengths and needs of each client.
