Our clients are sensitive, thoughtful adults who have experienced childhood abuse, neglect, and overall family dysfunction and have found ways to appear like they "have it all together" on the outside, but internally are suffering with painful memories, feelings of deep shame, and an overall sense of unworthiness. In our work with adults who have been raised by emotionally immature parents, we help clients re-discover, or perhaps discover for the first time, a true sense of self and identity. Many of our clients are parents who are committed to breaking the cycle of intergenerational trauma for the good of their children.
Our therapists are trained to support individuals in processing deep emotional experiences, including those that have been tucked away for years, in a way that feels individualized and safe. We can help you reconnect to yourself and others through a variety of individual, family, and couples therapy techniques (EFT, EMDR, Gottman, family therapy, etc.).
You want a therapist who will support you in reconnecting to parts of yourself that feel lost, shifting from self-hate to self-compassion, and establishing a renewed sense of inner safety. Rolling With Resilience- D&D group 9-12 yr olds
Rolling with Resilience is a Table Top Role Playing therapeutic group, based on the concepts of Dungeons and Dragons. The group will be held in person in our Center City, Philadelphia office and is for children ages 9 through 12. Therapeutic benefits include increased self-concept, improved problem solving and frustration tolerance skills, enhanced sense of social confidence, and so much fun!
