My approach to counseling that life is often uncontrollable, but we can control how we respond, how we communicate, and how we navigate through complex social/personal/professional issues. I work primarily with teens, young adults, college students, and adults on a variety of difficulties such as anxiety, depression, suicide/suicidality, personality disorders, and career/workplace stressors.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with years of experience, and my mission is to bring energy and boldness to women, men and young adults by providing them the wellness tools to help them navigate and regain balance and control of their lives so they can truly love and embrace it. ​

Mindful Tides Therapy was formed to provide an atmosphere for our clients to individualize their goals. We recognized the decrease in quality client care through the “big box” therapy practices that are owned by those who are not clinicians themselves, and it was important for us to provide a safe space for clients to have input into their treatment plans. Our goal is to aid our clients in finding a secure, collaborative, compassionate, and ethical therapy environment. It is a priority for us to provide our team of therapists with the training and work/life balance they need to practice comfortably.

I understand that making the phone call to see a therapist can be a difficult task. I treat each person with care, compassion, and integrity. When I speak with you on the phone for the first time my main goal is to put you at ease and to empower you to continue to move forward giving you support when needed. Life offers so many challenges to us and sometimes we just need a little extra kindness and support from a therapist to move forward and live the life that we know was meant for us and our future.
