Narrative And Collaborative Psychotherapy
I am a Collaborative Psychologist, working with individuals, families, and couples. I treat Depression, postpartum anxiety, marital conflicts, and I coach parents who struggle with hard to care for children. Therapy works when we develop complete honesty, mutual respect, optimism, and realistic goals . Yoga for treating mood, anxiety and Trauma, are new tools I added to my skill-set. These techniques allow me to reach places where words and conversation can't. Now, I am using LifeForce Yoga techniques to reach deeper, faster. Mindfulness, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) are research based tools I use to help individuals and couples.
Multi-Generational Health and Mental Health
Depression, Anxiety, Postpartum depression, ADHD, and Marital conflicts are problems I treat. Problem behaviors whether learned or biologically endowed, often impact more than one person. Pessimism, hopelessness, and passivity turn small problems to chronic and entrenched. Optimism, spirituality, hope, and active problem solving can change problems into opportunities for growth.
Humor and other Wellness Approaches
Sense of humor is valuable tool. Humor can help develop creativity and flexibility. When we approach our reality with humility and humor, we can experience gratitude, compassion, acceptance, and forgiveness for self, others as well as the universe we can celebrate reality. This is when problems turn to opportunities.
